I stopped updating the Bike Greenville blog last summer for
reasons explained in my previous
post. That was intended to be the end, but I want to write just one more post
to share a bit of good news.
Bike Walk
Greenville is a new advocacy organization focused on active transportation
in Greenville County. The mission is "to
increase the quality of life and economic vitality of Greenville County by
advocating for the improvement of pedestrian and
bicycling opportunities and promoting the importance of health,
safety, recreation and equitable transportation options.”
I am excited to play a small role in this new organization,
along with many others who care deeply about cyclist and pedestrian safety in
