Bike to Work Week

I mentioned in my last post that the City of Greenville will be taking part in National Bike to Work Week on May 12th through 16th. The City's official 2008 BTWW website is now up, so check out the schedule of events here.

I am adding a permanent link to the side bar as well, so keep watching the site. If you have never tried bike commuting before, start planning now to ride to work next month. You won't be alone and we will provide resources and information to make it easy and fun.

at the simpsonville imagine greenville meeting, there was a lot of support for alternatives to automobiles!

the meetings are very interesting if anyone has time to go to one of the next 2 or 3 meeings.

i'm planning to make my first commute during bike week. its astounding how all my regular trips are only 2 or 3 miles away from my house! i look forward to selling my car within the next 2 years.

Roving Looney, great to hear about the Simsonville meeting. I know that a couple other cyclists were there.

Great to hear that you plan to bike commute during BTWW. Hopefully I will see you at the breakfast on Friday.
